New Feature: Save to Reference Managers with the GetFTR Browser Extension
Since its launch last year, the GetFTR Browser Extension has been transforming how researchers discover and access trusted scholarly content across the wider web—including on discovery platforms, social media, and news sites. By flagging retractions and errata at the point of discovery, the extension also helps researchers stay informed and supports scholarly integrity.
From today, the extension will offer a new feature: the ability to save document links to reference management tools further simplifying the research workflow. Researchers can now download and save links to their preferred folder or tool, or save them straight to Mendeley. Support for additional reference managers will be available soon.
“We’re excited to see the GetFTR Browser Extension integrate with Mendeley to support a more streamlined research experience and enable researchers to save important documents from their discovery resource directly to our reference manager,” said Heesang Jeon, Product Director at Mendeley

“This new functionality demonstrates our continued commitment to developing GetFTR in ways that meet researchers where they are—making it easier to access, manage, and trust the scholarly content they rely on,” said Dianne Benham, Product Director at GetFTR.
