GetFTR is excited to participate in three key industry webinars this April, covering important topics such as retractions, streamlined access, and syndicated usage data. Our Product Director, Dianne Benham, will be sharing insights on how GetFTR enhances research integrity, improves access to scholarly content, and supports publishers and libraries. These sessions are free to attend and will be available on demand for all registrants.
Exploring Retraction Watch Data in Crossref: 2nd April
Crossref is hosting a webinar on the newly available Retraction Watch metadata in the Crossref REST API. The session will cover how this data is collected, how to access it, and why it matters for researchers, publishers, and institutions. GetFTR will be sharing how we use this data for our Retraction and Errata enhancement.
Lean Library Meets GetFTR: Unlocking Streamlined Access with One-Click to PDF: 9th April
Learn how Lean Library’s partnership with GetFTR addresses common pain points faced by researchers and librarians. The webinar will cover challenges researchers and libraries face today, will present Lean Library’s One-Click to PDF vision, and demonstrate how GetFTR powers that vision. It will also outline library use cases which demonstrate how this integration solves key challenges with a real-world example from an institution already seeing benefits. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
COUNTER Syndicated Usage Update with STM: 22nd April
Join us for a free webinar to hear the latest on how platforms that host syndicated content can share COUNTER-compliant usage data with publishers.
The webinar will provide a high-level overview of COUNTER syndicated usage best practice guidelines, the role that GetFTR plays in supporting off-platform usage, and the status of DUL.
